Anxiety & OCD Therapy

in the East Valley

For persistent overthinking and mental spirals that won’t stop.

You might be experiencing

  • A mind that feels hypervigilant or always on
  • An urge to double check, rewind conversations, or overanalyze decisions
  • Constant rumination or mental spirals that leave you feeling overwhelmed and stuck
  • Thoughts that don’t feel like you that make you feel more anxious when you try to make them go away
  • An inability to relax even when, on paper, everything is ok
  • Frequent physical manifestations such as panic, a racing heart, or a pit in your stomach even when everything seems ok

What’s actually happening

Anxiety and OCD often operate as cycles. Anxious thoughts cause distress, and we develop responses like double-checking, ruminating, replaying, or avoiding that might mute the anxiety for a time only to come back stronger later. While these responses might feel like they help in the moment, they often reinforce the anxious thoughts themselves, keeping you stuck in a loop that feels out of control.

How therapy helps

Where our initial response is often to try to make the anxious thoughts go away, therapy can help you develop a more effective approach to decreasing and managing anxiety. Therapy can help you change your relationship to intrusive thoughts, step out of the spiral, feel more grounded, and teach you how to stay calm even in the face of uncertainty.

My approach

My work integrates Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) with a deeper understanding of the internal patterns that drive anxiety. The goal is not to erase anxiety but to give you more control over how you interact with it and to learn how to step out of the cycles and spirals that interrupt your life.

What this work can lead to

Over time, this work can lead to less hypervigilance, less anxiety associated with intrusive thoughts, and a growing ability to thoughtfully respond rather than react. If you feel stuck in endless cycles of overthinking and reactivity, therapy can help.
